If you are interested in becoming a part of Palmetto Christian Academy, we invite you to consider the positions listed below and make application.  PCA is a ministry of East Cooper Baptist Church and is committed to impacting our students and families with the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ while also providing a strong academic program designed to prepare every student for service in the Kingdom of God.  You are encouraged to preview our website and learn more about PCA and its mission.

Upper school bible teacher - full time

PCA is seeking a qualified full-time teacher for upper school Bible for immediate employment starting August 4, 2014 for the 2014-2015 school year.  If you have an interest in teaching the Bible and can produce a transcript with college level courses in Bible or seminary reflecting a Reformed theological understanding of scripture along with a desire to mentor high school aged students in their walk with Christ, please complete the online application below.  You may contact our headmaster, Mike Lindsey, at mlindsey@palmettochristianacademy.org for further information.

interim varsity boys basketball coach 

PCA is seeking an interim varsity boys basketball coach for the 2014-2015 season.  High school coaching experience or higher is required, along with a commitment to coach and lead young men in a Christ-like atmosphere.  PCA plays in the South Carolina Independent School Athletic Association 2AA division.  You may apply via our online application below.


High School Chorus Director - Part time

PCA is seeking a qualified person with experience in leading a youth chorus to fill the position for the 2014-2015 school year.  Applicants must be in agreement with the ECBC/PCA Statement of Beliefs, provide documented experience, and possess the ability to work with students in grades 9 - 12.

Palmetto Christian Academy was founded in 1992 as a ministry of East Cooper Baptist Church, Mt. Pleasant, S.C. PCA enrolls 650 students in pre-school through grade twelve.

Part Time Office Assistant/ Security Desk
 
Description:
 
Responsible for assisting the PCA Office by effectively managing all visitors entering and exiting the school building.  The team member will scan visitor identification at the security desk as well as monitor students signing in and out of school.  This person will be responsible for answering phones as necessary and serving as a source of information about school events and happenings.  This is a part time position with a schedule of Monday - Friday from 11 am to 3:15 pm.
Qualifications include a passionate love for the Lord, excellent interpersonal skills, and a willingness to work patiently with support staff and team members.
