      This year the Board of Palmetto Christian Academy has set aside funds to be used for financial assistance to families with demonstrated financial need.  Several needs-based scholarships have also been established by generous contributors that specify particular criteria.

In order to provide a secure, confidential assessment process, the school will be using FACTS Management’s grant and aid assessment service.  There is no cost to you for this service. The school will not receive or maintain any of your confidential information. Instead, a report will be provided that highlights anticipated parental contribution amounts based upon the information provided and the ability to pay.

If you would like to apply for financial assistance or any of our scholarships, you will need to follow these steps:

1.       Go to www.palmettochristianacademy.org.  Under the Admissions Tab, follow the link to Financial Aid and Scholarships and click on “Financial Aid & Scholarships”

2.       Log into FACTS and under New Users, create a new account id and password.

3.       Complete the information as requested

4.       A “Help” menu to the right provides valuable information

5.       Applications must be completed by April 30, 2008 in order to be considered for school year 2008 – 2009 financial assistance and scholarships.

6.       The needs assessment provided by FACTS will be reviewed and award recipients will be notified by May 30, 2008 of the decision.  Notification will be via the Total Tuition Commitment Letter.

Please note the following:

·         The PCA Booster Club is offering three athletic scholarships for returning students. 

·         Applications are available in the school office. One of the scholarships is need-based; therefore the above process will need to be completed.  The other two scholarships are not need based.  The applications for these two will be available mid-March.

·         Prior year receipt of financial aid or scholarships (including total amounts) do not roll over from year to year. Everyone requesting consideration of financial aid or scholarships will need to apply.
