Brad Chaney

At what grade level did you start Palmetto Christian Academy?

I came to PCA going into the 6th grade after I moved.

Are you involved in extracurricular activities? If so, what are they and have you received awards in these activities?

I did PCA swim team for 2 years, PCA track and field for 7 years, PCA basketball for 6 years, and PCA cross country for 1 year. I had all low-country swimmer for sophomore year and I have 2 state titles, with hopefully a third this year.

What are your plans after graduation?

I am going to The Citadel next year for 4 years and majoring in Tactical Athletic Training.

If your college or university has released scholarship recipients, have you received scholarship money?

I have revived the Minute-man scholarship which is a ROTC scholarship for the army reserves which pays all tuition.

How has PCA made a difference in, or impacted your life? Do you feel that Palmetto Christian Academy has prepared you for life after graduation?

PCA has helped me in life with the teachers being so involved with the students and having them care for us individually. They want to see us all succeed in life. PCA is also academically challenging. PCA has definitely prepared me for life ahead not just academically but as a person as well.
