Thomas obtained his B.S. in Geology from Campbell University. He currently teaches Middle and High School Science at PCA, and has done so since 2015. Prior to PCA, he worked for various private schools for over ten years. He is actively involved in PCA as the  Science Club sponsor and an assistant coach for the Varsity Girls Soccer team.  Prior to teaching, he was an environmental consultant. He has also owned and operated an LLC related to youth sports development. Thomas and his wife, Tammy, have three children.
