Lower School
Grades K-5
Our Lower School offers students a program of academic excellence and opportunities for spiritual/character development within a nurturing, Christ-centered environment. Our curriculum is built upon national and state standards and is designed to foster the development of life-long learners.
Experienced and nurturing faculty provide students with rich learning experiences both in the core subject areas of Bible, ELA, Mathematics, Social Studies, and Science as well as through a wide variety of enrichment activities including Physical Education, Music, Band/Choir, Art, Library, Spanish, Computer, field trips, service opportunities and weekly chapels.
Administered bi-annually in our Lower School Technology Lab, computerized adaptive assessments (Measures of Academic Progress®) provide teachers with detailed information necessary to target students’ individual learning needs. Measured progress and achievement assist both teacher and parent in understanding how their student is progressing and the skills necessary for grade level advancement

As an educator and mother of two boys, I understand the value and importance of a solid academic education that is grounded in truth. First and foremost, we want to prioritize Christ in everything we do at PCA. John 10:10 says, "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly." In order for our children to have the abundant life that they can only have through Christ, they must know Him. We want everything we do at PCA to point our students to Jesus and help them understand the Gospel.
