Critical Thinking Skills Showcased In Senior Thesis Presentations

main image

Impressive. Informative. Inspirational. Our Class of 2024 spent three days last week presenting their Senior Thesis projects, and audience members were simply stunned at their command of knowledge and superb presentation skills. This is the culmination of a year-long program which is the capstone of a PCA education.

"Our senior thesis presentations at PCA are a highlight of our PK-12 program," said Upper School Principal Sean Keiper. "In order to develop critical thinking skills that are rooted in God's Word, our teachers provide opportunities for students to participate in this practice inside the classroom during their academic careers. It was incredible to see our seniors show off these skills in practice! They did an amazing job and we are very proud of them."

PCA's Senior Thesis course is required for all seniors, and provides excellent experience in collegiate level research and writing, preparing all PCA graduates for the rigors of college and life beyond. There was certainly a sense of accomplishment seen on the faces of our senior class once their presentations were complete. Great job Class of 2024!
