Mary Jane Watson earned her B.A. from the University of South Carolina and a Masters of Arts in Teaching from the College of Charleston. She and her husband live on Sullivan’s Island where they raised their two adult daughters, Katie and Samantha. Mary Jane has been teaching 34 years, 30 at Sullivan’s Island Elementary School, where she taught kindergarten, first, and second grades. Mary Jane began her ministry 29 years ago at SIES. She has been very active in the community, joining several non-profit organizations and serving 8 years on SI Town Council. Mary Jane and her husband have been members at East Cooper Baptist for 16 years and serve in the Children's Ministry where they are currently involved in mission work in the Middle East. Mary Jane looks forward to joining the PCA community and is very excited to see what God has planned.
