Livier Salas

High School Spanish Teacher

Livier Salas brings a unique blend of creativity, experience, and educational expertise to the Spanish classes . She holds a degree in Industrial Chemistry from the University of Guadalajara in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. As a native Spanish speaker, born and raised in Mexico, she brings authentic language, culture, and firsthand experience into her classroom every day.

Known to her students as Señora Vivi, Livier has been teaching Spanish since 2019, working with elementary, middle, and high school students in private schools and homeschool communities throughout the Lowcountry. Her passion for language and culture has inspired countless students to develop confidence and appreciation for the Spanish language.

Originally from Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, Livier has called the Charleston area home since 2015. She is married to her husband, Henry, and together they are dedicated to serving God through ministry. As founders and directors of a missions ministry , they organize and lead mission trips to Spanish-speaking countries, sharing their faith while serving local communities.

Livier and Henry are the proud parents of five wonderful children. Whether in the classroom, on the mission field, or at home with her family, Livier is passionate about investing in others, building meaningful relationships, and making a lasting impact through education and service.
