Homecoming 2020: PCA Students Were Shining Stars!

main image

What a glorious celebration of Homecoming at PCA as students of all ages enjoyed a variety of fun-filled activities!

Upper School students enjoyed dress up days throughout the week including Disney Character Day and Celebrity Day, while our entire school participated in Blue & Gold Spirit Day on Friday. We enjoyed seeing the incredible costumes of our students and our faculty, who made it memorable with their spirit days ensembles!

Also on Friday, we celebrated our Fighting Eagles with a spirited pep rally that culminated with a huge win for the Senior Class in the tug-of war competition, as they secured the final victory over a very determined faculty team! A special thanks to Heather Howard, Jana Estes and Laura Broach for planning the event!

Later that night, PCA families and fans enjoyed Friday Night Lights at its best with an enthusiastic home crowd, a talented cheer squad, and an adorable mini cheer performance at halftime! The festivities continued with the crowning of our new Homecoming Queen, Olivia Horne, and Homecoming King, Kendall Chakeris! PCA Alumni, and last year's king and queen, Ocean Dybowski and Anne Gregory Horton, joined us for the big moment.

The celebration didn't stop there as we all watched our PCA Fighting Eagles dominate Wardlaw Academy with an 56-0 victory! What an amazing week to be an Eagle!!!
