Varsity Boys Golf Team Heads To State Tournament!
The PCA Boys Varsity Golf Team closed out the season with two special matches last week. Last Wednesday, PCA won the region match at Daniel Island Country Club. After the match, the team honored Ava Romfo, Alex Stephens and Andrew Propes at Senior Night. On Thursday, PCA had a strong, second place finish at the final region match at Santee National. The Eagles placed second overall in the region this season.
Alex Stephens was named Region Player of the Year! Alex concluded the season with the lowest scoring average in the region, carding two under-par rounds in region play. Way to Go Alex! Congratulations to John Michael Jenkins and Andrew Propes for being named to the All-Region team as well. The All-Region team recognizes the top 7 players in the region…PCA secured 3 out of 7 spots!
The golf team heads to Hackler this week for the SCISA State Tournament. Tee times begin Monday and Tuesday at 1pm. Go Eagles!
