Alyssa Godwin

    At what grade level did you start Palmetto Christian Academy? I started at Palmetto Christian Academy in Kindergarten.

    Are you involved in extracurricular activities? Yes, I was on the Cheer Team from 6th-11th grade, and this year I am a part of the Impact Team as the bassist. I am also a co-leader of the ECBC High School Ministry worship team, as a singer and a bassist. In addition to this, I am part of the Student Leadership Team for the ECBC HSM. I am also President of the National Honor Society, and was Secretary of NHS during my junior year. I was Vice President of the Science Club during my junior year as well.

    What are your plans after graduation? I plan to attend Anderson University and I will major in Clinical Psychology. I hope to become a Licensed Professional Counselor in the future.

    If your college or university has released scholarship recipients, have you received scholarship money? I am a Palmetto Fellows recipient, and I also received the Founder's Scholarship and Denmark Scholarship from Anderson University. 

    Do you feel that Palmetto Christian Academy has prepared you for life after graduation? Yes, my friendships helped me grow as a person, and the Bible courses at PCA helped me grow in my faith and knowledge of the Bible. I feel prepared for college through the rigor and biblical foundation of the courses at Palmetto Christian Academy.
