The Andrews Family

The Andrews family - Bobby, Amy, and senior Rachel - are PCA lifers.  Rachel has been at our school since kindergarten and has been active in various leadership roles as well as athletics. We asked them to share their experience at PCA and what they love most about our school.

Why did you choose PCA? We sought a Christ-centered education for Rachel from the beginning and were very impressed with PCA's reputation for that along with smaller class sizes.

How would you describe your child’s experiences at PCA? Having been at PCA since Kindergarten, Rachel has developed a wonderful network of teachers and friends that have helped shape her into a strong student and follower of Christ. Just yesterday she was writing Christmas cards to her teachers and was emotional about how much stronger her faith is because of many of her amazing teachers.

What do you feel your child gets at PCA that she would not get somewhere else? PCA has given Rachel the ability to be confident and comfortable in her educational journey. The small class size, communication from staff and the pure joy of being loved by many that she walks the halls with every day is a rare find in our educational environment today. Also it's been a blessing to have a staff that is willing to walk with you when issues come up that need to be addressed.

How is PCA special to your family? PCA is special to us in many ways, but mainly it has become like our extended family! From our involvement in PTF, Sports and the classrooms we have made so many life-long friends that we will forever be grateful for!

What advice would you give families who are considering PCA for their children next year? Our advice as a family for anyone considering PCA is that it's the best investment in your child that you could make!! I do love that Rachel has been at PCA since Kindergarten and has been able to transition through Elementary, Middle and High School at PCA. The faculty has done a great job at preparing students for the next step.
