Megan Myrick

Learning Specialist

Megan received a BS in Biology from NC State University and a Masters in Sports Medicine from UNC-Chapel Hill. She went on to earn a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Washington in Seattle. She has 15+ years experience working with children and adults with special needs. She is passionate about childhood development and helping youth navigate experiences in and out of the classroom. She completed a Worldview fellowship through the Colson Center and enjoys Biblical Integration in the classroom. She believes that the Lord created every student with a purpose and a plan; while also believing that every student needs help navigating their strengths and weaknesses in order to live out those purposes. Her husband, David, is in the Air Force. Her daughter, Olivia, is in the class of 2026 at PCA. They worship at Centerpoint Church in North Charleston where they are active in immigrant and refugee ministry.  Megan loves backpacking, sailing, reading, and has a big heart for vulnerable people.
