Kindergarteners rocked their new school shoes with Pete the Cat on a recent back to school tour of PCA.

The first week of school is always an adjustment period but for our newest PCA kindergarten students, it's also a time full of new teachers, new routines, and a new building! In order to help introduce new students to their new schedules, the kindergarten teachers took their classes on a “Pete the Cat themed tour”.

“We were so excited to welcome our new students and have a fun Pete the Cat themed tour to show them our wonderful school as well as meet some very important people!” said new Kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Braden Cruz.

Classes began their tour around 9:45 am and often crossed each other in the hallways while enroute to their Special Area Teachers, and to new Lower School Teacher Mrs. Cox’s temporary office, excitedly pointing out clues to their kindergarten school mates.

Kindergartener Bennie Erdman said “The best part was finding the clues.” While his friend, Beaudil Blevins said, “My favorite part was singing about my school shoes!”

By the end of the tour, our newest PCA Eagles were feeling more at home in their new nest.
