Liz grew up in the Lowcountry and graduated Cum Laude from Wake Forest University, where she received her degree in Elementary Education with a minor in studio art. She spent her first years of teaching in Arlington, VA, where there were over 400 languages and dialects represented within the school system!! After she and her husband, Yates, returned to Mount Pleasant nine years ago, she used her skills in education to homeschool her sons, Solomon and Judah, during their preschool years. The Lord then called the whole family to PCA in 2021, and they are thrilled to be both teaching and learning in an environment that is focused on the wonder and beauty of Christ!
