Freshmen Serve Charleston's Homeless This Christmas Season

Our 9th graders stepped up in a big way with nearly 100% participation in a recent service project for the Hot Dog Ministry.   Students collected items for blessing bags including much needed socks, toiletries, and blankets. The original plan was to hold a blessing bag "assembling" party for all 9th graders at the school last Friday, but the plan was amended due to COVID. A small group of students volunteered to stay after school and assemble the bags outside on the campus grounds.

We want to thank all of the 9th grade students and families who donated! 23 blessing bags were filled, and leftover items were donated to the Spanish Club who has been busy collecting items for underprivileged school children.
