PCA 9th Grader Lily Huffines recently made her mark at the Region 4 Honor Band clinic, showcasing her musical talent and dedication. Lily joined 107 other 9th and 10th grade students from the region for an intensive 11-hour clinic where they learned an entire concert in a short span of time. The culmination of their hard work was a concert held on a Saturday afternoon last month where Lily and her peers delivered a memorable performance.

Band Director Mike Doll says that Lily's achievement is a testament to her commitment to music, as she is only the 5th student from PCA to receive this prestigious honor. Through rigorous practice and a successful audition, Lily earned her well-deserved spot among the talented musicians at the clinic.

Reflecting on her experience, Lily expressed her gratitude. "Having the opportunity to participate in region band was a great honor. Getting to spend the day with new people and many different instruments was exciting!"

Congratulations to Lily Huffines on this remarkable accomplishment, and we look forward to seeing her continued success and growth in the world of music.
