Middle School Leadership Tackles The Business World

main image

Watch out world, there are future entrepreneurs in the works. The Middle School leadership class took on a new project this year, creating a business project.

Teacher John Harris explained the project as, “consisting of students creating their own business, creating a business plan, and creating a business PowerPoint presentation. The main purpose is for students to understand what goes into starting a business, and open their minds to see what being a business owner entails, how to create a mission and vision statement and to build more confidence in their public speaking skills. I would hope that each student has more of an idea of what being a business owner (leader) is all about and they are more confident in their public speaking ability.”

Seventh grader Sophia Ralph said that it was most impactful in the sense that… “This project gave me a chance to create and make something I thought the world needed and I learned that building a business is hard but I loved creating something new!”

Our PCA students are going to make an impact on the world!

We are delighted to announce that Palmetto Christian Academy was once again voted "Best Private School" by the readers of Mount Pleasant Magazine! That's 7 years in a row! This year, our school also received special recognition in a few new categories: PCA won "Best School To Adapt To COVID", and our school nurses, Tricia Turner and Ashli Rushing were voted among the favorite school nurses in the area! What an honor and a great testament to our school's leadership throughout the pandemic.

A huge thank you to our families and friends who voted for our school. We sincerely appreciate your support!
